I had three bags in the fride from our famers market that I did not want to waste. They have the most amazing flavour so the puree is sooooo full of taste.

Now, what can I do with it for dinner tomorow that will allow the flavour to still come through? (I mean, adding it to a bolognaise I think would be a waste).

Homemade baked beans??? Wow, it would never have occured to me. Go one then, I would love the recipe. But what do you have them with? I mean, I put bought ones with sausages usually.

they are so yummy. am not too good on quantities, you need to adjust for own taste.

fry a finely chopped onion & some garlic slowly in olive oil. add tom puree (though i use tinned ones normally), some maple syrup, dijon mustard, worcester sauce, marmite & a couple of bayleaves. cook this over a very low heat for a couple of hours. you will probably need to top it up with water/stock & stir occasionally. then take the bayleaves out & blend it up in a food processor. put a couple of tins of beans (i use haricot & butter beans. cannellini would work well too) in an oven proof dish & cover with the sauce. cover & cook in low oven for another couple of hours.

i find all the waiting very frustrating .

Home made pizza (use the tomato as the passata.

My guys eat loads of this especially if I make the pizza bread dough.
