I want to make granola but I hate nuts - anyone got any recipes?

I love granola but Asda has stopped stocking the Quaker one in our store (grrr). I want to try and make some of my own but all the recipes I can find have nuts in and I hate them. Anyone got any good recipes without nuts in? TIA

Leave the nuts out!

I made the one in Nigella's Feast book and I don't think that had any nuts in it.

So just ignore the nuts in the recipe? Cool, I was worried that would ruin it. Yay, finally a breakfast I like! I'll make it tonight.

400g roalled oats
120g sunflower seeds
120g white sesame seeds
175g apple sauce
2 teaspoons cinnamon (I put in about half a jar as I love cinnamon!!)
1 teaspoon ground ginger (again, I put in a bit more)
120g rice syrup or rice malt syrup or golden syrup (I left this out and put in extra honey
4 tablespoons runny honey
100g light brown sugar (I think this is unnecessary and will reduce or leave it out next time)
1 teaspoon salt (didn't bother with this)
2 tablespoons sunflower oil (I used olive as it's all I had)
300g raisins

Mix everything bar the raisins together. spread it out onto 2 shallow roasting tins like the ones that come with the oven
Bake at GM3/17deg C, turning over about half way through to ensure even toasting. It can take 40 minutes - 1 hour depending on your oven, keep an eye on it. Cool & then stir im the raisins. Store in an airtight jar.

I always tend to adjust recipes. Add in something else thta you like to make up the quantity so it's not too sticky. I didn't have enough of the seeds for this one so I added, er, pumpkin seeds I think.

Thanks for that SoupDragon. I've got most of those ingredients so I should be able to make it tonight
