Can I freeze this meal and re-heat later?

I made a big batch of bolognese yesterday.
We ate half of it with pasta last night.
Its been in the fridge overnight.
I'm now making the rest into a shepherds pie.

Is it ok to take what we dont eat tonight and freeze it in portions for later? or is that too much re-heating??

no probs freezing it.

I usually only reheat once. If you've cooked bolognaise, then reheated once already as Shepherd's pie, then I wouldn't reheat it again.

I'd only reheat once personally

Having seen the other comments, thought I should check my advice out - it's something I remember from my catering days (long time ago now...), but still seems to crop up in websites on food hygiene:

Main thing would be to cool the meal quickly, then when reheating make sure it is piping hot throughout.
