ok me again, sorry - but chicken and chorizo pasties? Any ideas?

have some pastry to use up (was clearing out freezer). Want to make something for dp's lunches. Was thinking pasties.

I have some chorizo and chicken in the fridge so am thinking that with a thin curry style gravy and maybe some veg (though my mind only stretches to peas).

Any ideas on how to do it?

Why not twist the chicken and chorizo into the pastry, grate over cheese, sprinkle with herbs, and make savoury twists?

Oh, is the chicken cooked, btw? Kind of assumed so!

not yet, but can do so.

That sounds lovely, I would like it, but dp doesn't like cheese (along with god knows how many other foods).

He's a pain, but I hate him buying lunch everyday and want to make something he'll want to take in. And also I want to try and get some veg in him at lunchtime.

ok have decided to nick sauce from this but leave out the potatoes and tomatoes, and add less water (don't want the pasties too soggy), with the chicken and chorizo.

(the potato and pea curry is fab btw in case anyone hasn't tried it and fantastic when have almost no food in house - as long as have the spices in obv - would highly recommend it, cept I slow cook it in oven after doing the spices).
