Not sure if this is food of behaviour, but DD wont eat meat if she has seen it raw before hand...any experience?

My son used to be scared of bananas but would eat it if I peeled and chopped it without him seeing. He loves them now with cinnamon on.

TBH I think at 8 she is old enough to know why she doesn't like it.

Would she eat Parma Ham?

Actually, my DP is a little like this. I often say that he should be a vegetarian. . He also doesn't like the idea of meat - so if I tell him that we're eating lamb neck, he immediately gets less interested in eating it!

I think keeping her out of the kitchen is probably best. I generally don't talk about the detail of what we're eating.

I'm like this too - I love eating meat but can't bear to see it before it's cooked. Seriously hypocritical, I know! I would jurst make sure you warn her to keep out of the kitchen when necessary - that's what dp does with me!
