Want to eat but feel nauseous. What can you suggest?

I have had a stinking headache for a few days, and today I have been physically unwell. Not stomach ache as such, more, nothing is sitting well, its just not staying.

But, as well as feeling nauseous I am also feeling hungry, for something particular, but I can't quite place it. NOT SOUP, not bread.

I sort of think I fancy a curry, but that is so not appropriate.

Any suggestions? I do not eat red meat, celery (blurgh) or mushrooms (I can eat them, just don't like them really).

Any ideas?

OH thats it!!!!! That is what I want [kisses the Armadillo on the forehead].

Cheesy mash!

But, shite we have no potatoes, and DH and I have had a bicker, and he is not likely to go the shops for me...

AHA, I just told him...he is going to go to Sainsbury's and buy me some ready made cheesy mash, on the condition I watch his sausages for him! It happens he quite fancies mash with his sausages...

RESULT!

I was going to say a packet of ginger biscuits

TheArmadillo · 11/11/2008 20:19

mash is always good

PavlovtheCat · 11/11/2008 20:24

Yes, and if I recall, they do a really nice one there. Just like Mamma made!

DH tried making it like my mama did once, and it was all lumpy, distorted my memories somewhat! .

Oh now I am feeling a bit more hungry, maybe with some baked beans? Maybe not.

He is also getting lucozade and Paramol!!!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but my family and pretty much everyone I know have been struck down with the winter vomitting bug over the last week. You probably will get sick, so make you're last meal worthwhile!!!! Really go for it and pig out.

PavlovtheCat · 11/11/2008 20:36

OH NO don't say that! I feel like shit, but headachey and sore shoulders/neck and tightness in chest/throat/nose, rather than sick. The sickness is part of it, but not the cause of it.

I so hope it does not get worse. I was hoping to go back to work tomorrow or thursday

Stayfrosty - thank you, I am quite looking forward to it now. I just wish he would hurry up! Its not that far!

Sorry, that was a bit mean just helping you to facilitate a pigging out if you fancied it!

PavlovtheCat · 11/11/2008 21:24

I liked where you were going with it though, and I did indeed pig out as if it was my last meal!

I ate the entire tub of mash potato - DH bought one for himself as he knew I would not want to share!!! He did not buy the taste the difference one as they were out of them, so I put my own cheese on, back in the microwave for 30 seconds, lovely indeed!

I feel much much better. Not less neaseous or headachey, but fuller with it, more comfy with it. Also guzzled two large glasses of lucozade, realising how thirsty for something sweet I was!!!

Thanks Armadillo!!!
