Right I'm going to mae some cookies for DS1's birthday party on Saturday. The recipe I'm looking at is in an American book and lists among other things:
superfine sugar
confectioners' sugar
all-purpose flour
I am currently assuming that superfine sugar would be caster sugar in the UK and confectioners' sugar would be icing sugar. All-purpose flour I'm guessing is plain flour, right?
Or am I hopelessly misguided?
Please help.
I know you have other things on your minds today, but I will raise a cookie to Obama (and you) if he wins.
