Can anyone tell me if i can use red toms in a green tomato chutney recipe ?

I have over ripe reds yellows and some green.
Im a bit of a novice but managed a huge batch of green tomato chutney from a recipe someone kindly gave me on here last year-trouble is this time ive left it later and they are nearly all red ! x

Yes you can use the red tomatoes instead, it will be fine. Maybe a touch extra vinegar.

I did it like that with a combination of colours and the result is very nice chutney.
