So Asda sent me green lentils instead of red, will they be ok in lentil soup?

sure thing, it won't taste exactly the same though. and the colour can be a bit uninspiring though so a bit of frozen spinach in there (and whizzed) might not go amiss.

they need a bit more cooking i'd say..but generally yes they are fine a la soup
check pack some need soaked etc..

I never noticed becasue I didn't put the non pershiable stuff away until this morning!

It says green lentils on the front of the bag. I did wonder about the colour I must admit, thought it might turn out snot coloured.

getting her weighed this afternoon, saltire, at the QM. and she's not pooed in a day, having had a prodigious output thus far. really smelly farts though. i hope she's not bunged up. (is that even possible on bm?)
