can I premake mashed potato and then regeat a couple of hours later?

going out this afternoon and will need to get dinner on the table quickly when we come in. I won't have time to make mashed potato from scratch - would it be ok to make it just before we go out and then keep it in the fridge and then reheat in the micro about 2/3 hours later?

It will be absolutely fine. When reheating, I would just fork through an extra bit of butter.

(infact we often make twice as much as we need and freeze half for quick mash another time)
