waitrose falafel......YUM YUM. Can I achieve the same taste if I home make them?????

just had this at a friends and it was gorgeous.

I really like their carrot ones. You do need to deep fry home-made ones though.

Ooh I see you can buy a mix.......just need to persuade the family to try them.
Maybe I won't make my own for the time being

I don't blame the them, they're kind of sweet aren't they!

I used to buy a mix that was pretty good, it was in a brown (looked like brown wrapping paper) box. I think I just had to add water, and perhaps egg, and then oven bake.

I can't remember the brand name now, but I used to buy it in Waitrose.

some of the mixes have too much bicarb in. felafel is not nice when made too healthy, much oil = yum.
