Quick, cheap and tasty cake recipe - any suggestions?

Am looking for an economical, tasty and quick (i.e. bung it all in the processor-type thing) cake recipe to make for a tea party. Any suggestions?

Victoria sponge is always good for that. Lots of jam in the middle and a sprinkle of icing sugar on top. Yummy!
