Hi,

As the title says.

Hubby wants burgers for tea.

I have the mince. What do I do next?

I do this -

250g mince
25g breadcrumbs (about half a small slice of bread)
some beaten egg
salt & pepper

mix all up together - just enough egg to hold it together.

Break into 4 equal lumps, make each into ball then squish flat.

Fry in a bit of oil

As above but without breadcrumbs.

Sometimes add finely chopped onion and/or herbs, or leave out the egg.

egg?
breadcrumbs?

I just put meat in them

occasionally onion or diced mushrooms

often a splash of ketchup/worcestershire sauce

If adding onion - fry it until soft first then the burger hold together better.

Yes - just mince. Shape, chill, grill.
