something esy to put in filo pastry parcels for dinner...??

i dunno what do make

chicken? chicken and what? chicken and sweetcorn? how would i prep chicken a sweetcorn to make filo poarcels? chopped into little strips and fried in olive and sesame oil?

I would put a fillet of salmon inside, put a smear of Thai curry paste on top of fillet and wrap it up.

Not sure about chicken - would it be cooked chicken? You could make a white or cheese sauce, add some veg (corn, peas etc) throw the chicken in and put small amounts on pastry and fold them up.

Ham and cheese, or spinach and cheese?

feta and spinach? Or use soft cheese instead of a sace for chicken and sweetcorn?

sace is a fancy word for sauce when 6mo with bad cold finally falls asleep on typing arm.

Make some tomato sauce:

Gently fry a diced onion in a generous glug of olive oil, season with black pepper, salt and oregano. Add a tin of tomatoes, breaking them up with a wooden spoon. Cook gently for about 30 minutes till reduced and nicely thickened. YOu may need to add a touch (say half a teaspoon) of sugar.

Chop or crush a couple of cloves of garlic and add to the sauce and cook for another couple of minutes. If you've got any fresh basil chuck in a generous handful at this point.

Let the sauce cool.

When it's cold, take a mozzarella ball and cut into halves or quarters (depends on how big the ball is). For each person you will be using one piece of mozzarella.

Tip the cheese into the tomato sauce and stir to coat thoroughly.

Then make one filo parcel per person, with one lump of mozarella and sauce.

Bake until brown and the cheese is nicely stringy.

i saw these answers after id gone ti supermarket and bought ingredients. so we had mince beefy ones and chicken ones. went down well. but i am definitely trying biwi's ones at some point.

Crumble in some stilton or other blue cheese
Stir until the cheese starts to melt
