how do you grill sausages without smoking the house out?

I love them but am getting to the point where I won't buy them any more, and can't afford to go extra special every time xx

do them in the oven instead

(or clean your grill! maybe it's got lots of fat on it)

I've given up, our smoke alarm goes off everytime.

So now I oven cook them, even if it dosn't say that I can [rebel emoticon]. They are loads nicer and evenly cooked. I hate turning sausages on the grill anyway.

I do them in the combi microwave/grill that we have....you just shut the door and off it goes.

Aaah, I never thought of that! I smell awful from it-I may just have to have a g and t and bubble bath to get over the stress!!

I do them in the oven for the same reason; and they taste better because (whisper it)the fat is still in them.

fry them

put water in the bottom of your grill pan, the ft drips into it and so doesn't burn off - hence no smoke.
