Trying to start cooking again after 6 weeks of horrendous 24-hour 'morning' sickness - still feeling sick and tired so looking for decent recipes for DH, DD and me that involve as little time in the kitchen as possible ....

Actual recipes or links would be great as I'm not a great improviser

pasta, tuna, pesto and peas
omelettes
salad with strips of chicken breast fried with garlic and lemon

Get a bottle of garlic-infused olive oil; slurp some over pasta cooked with peas; grate parmesan over the top.

Ameriscot, I did your pasta this evening for DD and had some myself - fantastic and very quick - many thanks. Did a double batch so lots for later!

bundle & lucy5 - great stuff, many thanks! The curry was great and even DD (13m) loved it; the chicken dish was wolfed down by both me and DH (who described it as 'very fancy' - and it's not like I normally serve him beans on toast or anything!), so DD didn't even get the chance to try it

Am going to select some more dishes from this thread for this week's dinners ......
