do you think this fish is ok to eat??

I poached some haddock fillets on Monday 1st (their use by date) and have had them in the fridge to use in a fish pie. Do you think that they will be ok to use today?? 2 days after their use by date? just checking cause it's for a 10 month old baby. thanks!

I probably wouldn't but am sometimes a bit over cautious when it comes to cooking for lo. If it was for myself and my oh then if it smelt/looked fine I would.

I wouldnt not for a baby, perhaps that me just being cautious.

the rest of us all have cast iron guts when it comes to things like that, so I would for the rest of the family

well it smelt fine, but I've decided to let caution get the better of me and leave it alone! Broken nights are bad enough without adding a tummy bug to the mix
