We've got loads of tomatoes and thought we'd have a go at 'sun roasting' them in the oven. Anyone know what temperature and how long for?

Thanks

Not sure of exact timing but sprinkle with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar and put on a really low oven for an hour or so.

I've done them at 150 degrees for an hour and a half I think. They're still juicy at that stage, so can stay in for longer if you want them that way. But put in more than you think cause the do shrivel a lot.

Anything between 100/150 seems to do the trick.
I do loads of them at the same time then out them into kiln jars and cover with olive oil that way you can keep them for ages.
You can add herbs or garlic if you fancy.
I use them in/on everything, stews, pasta, spag bol, lasangne, pastry tarts with mozeralla or feta,or even salads etc......

I've left them in at a very low heat overnight. I put orange rind on them and they were lovely.
