I must admit to getting stew envy so had to make one myself tonight (used the winter stew recipe that I posted earlier in this thread) and it was lovely.

Feeling very full now and may have to go for a long walk

lol stirling, it was very tasty! Had to get pil to drop off a big stock pot though and cook on the hob as I'd bought a bit of everything mentioned to pop in it!! We're all stuffed to bursting and there's plenty left for at least another meal, maybe 2

Did half the dumplings in the stew for oh & half in the stew for me . . . oh munched 2 of mine without me noticing!!! so much for not being keen on them in the stew itself
