What are all your food cupboard staples? What can't you be without? I am wanting to get a bit more into my cooking and need some ideas for handy things to stock.

Hi have to have pitta breads ,hoummous and grated carrot is fab.

pesto
salicia cooking sauces for pasta
pine nuts
tagliatelle
chocolate
taco shells
black peppercorns
mushroom ketchup(great in stews/casseroles)
