OK, I have just made my 1st proper curry for my DS's. Haven't got any meat defrosted so
I fried an onion and a clove of garlic, added some balti spice mix, a bit of ground coriander and ground turmeric, a chopped up carrot,a grated courgette, a tin of tomato and grated in some creamed coconut.
DS1 has had a taste and approves..so far so goo.
Just putting the rice on, so hopefully they'll scoff the lot! !!

Yes - my kids love anything with a bit of taste to it

My 2 yo dd loves curry and all things spicy. My ds has never been keen. He had a curry in a restaurant and really liked it so I was thrilled, thinking we would be able to have curry more at home. It turns out that it had peanuts in and he threw up. Its his only serious reaction to peanuts so far and in his head, all curry makes you vomit.
