New Potatoes: roast them or serve them boiled with butter and fresh mint,?

I can't decide. Doing chicken breasts stuffed with Gorgonzola and sundried tomatoes, wrapped in parma ham served with steamed baby veg. Can't decide whether I should roast or boil baby new potatoes.

I'm wracked with indecision . Votes?

Half each ?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 25/08/2008 16:23

boiled, butter and mint Yum

Think mint with all the other flavours in the chicken is too much. Roast in a bit of olive oil with salt and black pepper?

PinkPussyCat · 25/08/2008 16:24

Ooh buttered + minted for sure

PinkPussyCat · 25/08/2008 16:25

Some minted, some not?

TheArmadillo · 25/08/2008 16:25

roast.

Aitch · 25/08/2008 16:26

steamed, buttered and possibly minted.

GColdtimer · 25/08/2008 16:30

boiled (or rather steamed) seems to be winning at the moment. They are really fresh having been dug up from my dad's allotment this morning so perhaps I will steam and butter them but go easy on the mint.

Thank you! Wish I could invite you all too

perhaps use parsley instead of mint (will go better with everything else) + loads and loads of butter

GColdtimer · 25/08/2008 16:53

That's a good idea, I have parsley. And lots and lots of butter.
