Ideas to jazz up a plain lamb and veg casserole?

I made a huge batch of lamb casserole for DD to freeze in portions. There is way too much and I've run out of pots for freezer so decided to keep half for DH and I to have for dinner tonight.

So far it has lamb, onions, garlic, carrots, butternut squash, tin of toms, dash of cumin and that's about it. Tasty for DD but a bit bland for us.

Any ideas of how I can jazz it for DH and I when I reheat it this eve - could I add curry powder this late on or would that not work?

not curry powder!

Dried flaked chillis would be ok, rosemary and bay leaves.

I'd add some wine too, personally.

agree chops.

Oh yes - wine! That is what it needs. And as I am pg that is about the only way I can enjoy my wine at the moment.

Thanks for the ideas.

Why not curry powder by the way?
