Anyone have a recipie or ice slices/custard slices

Thinking about making some but cant find a recipie for them.
Can you use custard powder or make custard fresh from eggs?

Here you go, you needed to look for Vanilla Slices.
Ingredients
2 sheets frozen puff pastry
1/4 cup caster sugar
1/4 cup custard powder
1 cup cream
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
25 g butter
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
Directions
1Preheat oven to 210 deg celcius.
2Line oven trays with baking paper and place one pastry sheet on each tray.
3Prick with a fork and bake 10-15 mins Combine custard powder, sugar and cream in a saucepan over medium heat.
4Gradually add milk, stirring continuously until thick.
5Add vanilla.
6Cut cooked pastry to size of a brownie pan.
7Layer pastry-custard-pastry in tray.
8Make icing by combining butter and icing sugar over simmering water and mix until smooth.
9Pour over top of slice.
10Refrigerate.
