Following on from another thread where do u all do your food shopping?

Every1 is feeling the pinch at the moment so would be nice to see if we can help each other save the pennies.

I normally go to asda and have just priced this weeks shopping- which consists of fruit, veg, lenor, vaporesse some herbs, juice and crisps for school and it's £83

Not sure whether I should go elsewhere too see if I can get cheaper. Normally get fruit n veg weekly from local food co-op but lately it hasnt been the best quality

Butcher for meat and eggs. Spent £15 there yesterday and got a dozen eggs, 1.5lbs minced beef, wild boar sausages and 10 chicken breasts (FR) which were half price as they were last weeks chicken! £15 - I was well chuffed!

Am fluctuating between Lidl and Morrisons atm. Sains is too expensive and I hate Tesco. ASDA is not near.
