My mum's summer pudding is bloody lovely but she uses proper dense white bread from the village bakery.

I've made a pavlova for tomorrow, just need to get some raspberries .

I ADORE summer pudding.

Had it regularly when i was a summer nanny for London family in their Highland lodge. They had a cook (of course).

I LOVE summer pudding, with a generous slug of double cream over the top. In fact, I might just go and make one tomorrow, to remind myself of its deliciousness.

we got a luverly melon in last week's organic box. those small yellowish green ones, with teh orangey flesh. mmmmmmmmm

i prefer my summer pud on its own, no cream

I am surprised that people don't like summer pudding, I think it is wonderful and so easy to make! I think the quality of the bread makes a difference-I would imagine over processed white sliced is horrible.
