where can I buy natural food colouring?

my dd's are heavily into fairy cakes at the moment - and want to make them all sorts of garish colours. Yesterday I was merrily pouring the red food colouring in and I thought, there must be a more natural way? is there anything out there I could buy? don't fancy boiling up beetroot or anything too messy.

You can buy natural food colourings in our local Morrisons so I assume in most supermarkets. Colours a bit 'weak' though... And can't imagine there is a blue!

thanks, I had a look in sainsbo's yesterday and couldn't find anything natural so will check out morrisons.

Bumping this ridiculously old thread as I need to know this too - don't have a Morrison's near me. Maybe a health food shop would stock them?

Our local ASDA stocks them too.

Not much to add: Morrison's and Asda.

There is a blue!
