used cooking oil....how do I dispose of it???

I used to put kitchen paper to soak it up, and then put it in the bin, but whats the best way to dispose of it, or recycle it??(not in the car tho')

We usually leave ours to go hard and then put it out for the birds.

i use olive /sunflower too....i was wondering if i just put it into the ground, would it be ok?kill the weeds?or grass?i dont use a pan of oil very often

mine just seems to run out, naturally, i seive it, through paper towel, then back in bottle, if after home made chips
