Don't make the toffee sauce yourself, get a jar of dulce de leche (eg Merchant Gourmet brand, Waitrose stock it).

I can't find it, my friend made it for me and it involves smashing up Ferrero Rocher for the base (I think!). Expensive but AMAZING!

You have to make the sauce yourself! Dulce de leche is delish but ultra lazy!!
