you must mean Shogun Teppanyaki... haven't been there but it's supposed to be good. Don't worry about the food it's not all raw fish, I'm not overly adventureous, but I really enjoyed it

Agedashi dofu (deepfried beancurd with a tasty, savoury sauce), yakitori chicken (yakitori literally means grilled bird - it's pieces of chicken in teriyaki sauce on skewers).

Tonkatsu is breaded pork/chicken (very "English"!!) with a fruity sauce (bit like HP!).

Sukiyaki is gorgeous, but you might not get it at a teppanyaki - if it's like the one near us, you choose your fish/veg/chicken/noodles and they cook it for you on a big grill and bring you it beautifully presented with a selection of sauces. You can also have starters (like agedashi dofu and yakitori chicken too). And wasabi is a bit like horseradish - it's quite hot!

Have fun...mmm...Japanese...

(Sukiyaki is wafer-thin beef cooked with a selection of veg, noodles and beancurd in a stock-type sauce - they cook it at your table and it's LOVELY!)

YG, how you could think of going to a restaurant with a link called "menu's" on their website...

PuffTheMagicDragon · 03/02/2005 18:52

Oh, everything on the menu, especially tempura, yakitori chicken and sashimi.

God I'm hungry!
