DD loves her Doidy cup, she wouldn't drink out of beaker with spout.

I bought the doidy cup......
does it go in the dishwasher?

Frizbe · 20/02/2005 10:08

If you have a savers nearby they have the tommeetippe ones in that are not anyway up, but are really easy to use for a 1st beaker, like a few people on here, we have beakers of all sorts n sizes, and dd took to this one 1st, then we have moved her onto the anyway up ones, as she's gotten the hang of things, the fav is the tommeetippee anyway up, followed by the avent ones.

We put ours in a dishwasher and it was fine. Not sure if it is supposed to go in though. Does it not say on the leaflet that came with it - or on the bickiepegs website?

Hulababy · 20/02/2005 16:17

Just checked - yes it is:

"Dishwasher (top shelf) and microwave safe. (Warning - microwaving liquids can result in 'hot spots' and is not advised for children's drinks.)"

It definitely can - see post below yours - from the bickiepegs website.

I should have shares in beakers as I have been through so many. Tried the tommee tipee one which was fine but then started to leak, so I bought new spouts for it which made no difference. I have now bought an avent beaker which has been the best, no leaks but she can have a good drink. It holds a lot and is compatible which avent bottles for vesitility.

Just had the doidy cup delivered on Friday and it is a real life saver. DS would refuse to drink out of bottle or beaker but loves drinking from the doidy cup, probably feels "more grown up". That's another great thing about mumsnet, I never heard of a doidy cup before!
