sweet and sour pork with rice is a really tasty dish. mmmm, really hungry now !!

PeachyHidingInTheShed · 07/07/2008 10:39

I do mine as a somerset pork dish, with cider and sliced apples.

Alternatively something mustard and honey based would work

cream. seaded mustard and fresh dill,
fry the chops, when cooked take out of pan abd keep warn in the oven, put cream mustard and dill in frying pan with the meat juice stir and warm through, really nice and only takes a couple of minutes.

you have been in the US too long, Cali. Bet you say 'bayzil' too.

harpomarx · 10/07/2008 23:38

also am having infantile snicker at 'knob end of pork'

'erbs' for Herbs, then?

o-RE-gano?

you will see I have a longstanding and very sad interest in American pronunciation of culinary terms. They just seem to go out of their way to say things weirdly, don't they?

Rhubarb and plum sauce with chilli - stew fruit and chuck in chilli, takes 5 mins.
