Just as the title says really!
I have a rare morning to myself and want to treat myself to a lovely breakfast. I prefer sweeter things but will definitely consider savoury too. I would love to hear your recommendations, please and thank you!

My go to is brioche french toast. So easy to make! Just buy a ready sliced loaf, soak in a mixture of egg, milk, vanilla and cinnamon and fry in some butter.

Perfect with syrup and fruit!

oh very jealous! Eggs Benedict with salmon! All the way 🙌

Angels on horseback (oysters wrapped in bacon), + scrambled eggs with truffles on thick WHITE toast.
The sweet bit would be a cappuccino.

Homemade cheese scones with shedloads of butter, a few good cheeses and some chutney

Waffles with melted chocolate, chopped fruit and clotted cream ice cream

cinnamon streusel cake with whipped double cream and a big mug of hot chocolate

Eggs Florentine.
Shakshuka.
Porridge with grated apple, berries, ground almonds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, brown sugar and double cream.
Raspberry streusel cake with flaked almonds that my German neighbour used to make.

Chips! There's something incredibly indulgent about chips for breakfast. Alongside a crusty poppyseed roll crammed with smoked bacon. Gawd I want that now!

I sometimes have leftover crumble with yoghurt for breakfast, thats always a good start.

Crumpets.

Banofee crumpets.
Lemon curd, honey and blueberry crumpets.
Nutella, banana and cream.

All sorts. Soaked in butter first, of course.

Basically anything you could do to a Belgian waffle but with a crumpet.

Or savoury crumpet things on the eggs benedict theme but with a crumpet.

For a proper sweet treat I'd do baked custard oats — oats, an egg, some milk and a drizzle of maple syrup in a dish, bake until set and golden on top, then whatever fruit you've got. Tastes like pudding but still just about counts as breakfast! Hope you enjoy your morning.

French toast with crispy bacon!

I'd go two courses, but simple:

The best Greek yoghurt I could find, with Greek honey, figs and walnuts
Mushrooms on toast

I love huevos rancheros with guacamole and pickled onions and jalapenos. Very rarely have it as it's a bit of a faff. I'm more of a savoury person, I do love a big fruit salad but that's a bit boring. I am a bit strange though and regularly have soup or ramen for breakfast.
