They looked a bit ordinary.

Sainsbo's is so expensive now. Next week it will be baked bean and tinned tomato surprise I bet with some reduced basil shavings

JO must groan every time he has to come up with another idea.

MaryAnnSingleton · 29/06/2008 17:45

they were like mashed potato with a bit of salmon in-
dh was very pissed off

DragonsEye · 29/06/2008 17:53

yes, i made them the other day - when i got them out of the oven they were really runny, I had a baking tray of fish puree!

MaryAnnSingleton · 29/06/2008 17:59

There was a tuna fishcake recipe too a while back.
I tried it and it was rubbish.

LazyLinePainterJane · 30/06/2008 13:40

I think that anyone who can't make fishcakes for less than a fiver needs help.

onthepier · 30/06/2008 16:48

I made them at the weekend too, will try them again with more salmon + less mashed potato, agree they were more like potato cakes!

littleboyblue · 30/06/2008 16:53

I've done the tuna fishcake one. I did find that it was too much potato and not enough tuna so had to alter the ingredients slightly but dp said they were nice. I don't eat fish so don't know myself. And dp isn't really a good source as if he'd told me they were horrid, he knows I'd make him cook his own dinner.
Well, anyway.........
Gonna try the salmon next week I think nd see what happens
