What is your favourite everyday teabag? I've used Yorkshire Tea for years and maybe my taste buds have changed but it tastes a bit different to me now?

Can anyone comment on the difference between Yorkshire and Yorkshire Gold?

Another vote fir Assam (Lidl, twinings, even Asda all lovely) and also, bizarrely, M&S decaf

Britannia tea ia very good, full flavour. Can buy online.

I’m the same - was 💯 Yorkshire Tea (normal or gold) but I noticed the taste has changed and I am not enjoying it anymore 🙁

Switched back to M&S extra strong (blue box) and happy again with my tea!

i forgot to add Sainsbury’s Ceylon tea bags are nice, when you really want to taste the ‘tea’.

I don't drink tea but a few years ago I was swayed into buying a caddy of Yorkshire Tea because the Gruffalo was on it 😃 . DD is the tea drinker but she makes it in a mug <savage> when I have a delightful dark green teapot for one.
So she stuck with Yorkshire

Unfortunately my other half is drinking Tregothnan cornish tea, grown in Cornwall. Costs a fortune.
I blame myself because I got some Red Box tea from Edinburgh after a stay up there and the evil Internet found this Cornish one and encouraged me to buy some. And it is good and my other half found it and now won't drink anything else.
Its twice the price of the Red Box which is itself very expensive.

MIL hates them though and always brings her own Lipton yellow label ones (bleugh).

Yorkshire Tea, I wont drink anything else. I take them on holiday with me too.

Tea bags? God awful things. Loose leaf all the way. Fortune and Mason, Plükt, Mariage Frères etc.

Yorkshire used to be my best tea but now i go to Clipper they are really good

Tesco extra strong for tea bags. But loose leaf English Breakfast if I have time.

I like the loose leaf version of M&S Extra Strong, but their tea bags don't deliver the same flavour.
I’ve got a small teapot with a strainer in it, so use that for my brew.

I’m my opinion that’s by far the worst tea bag on the market.

I use loose tea as I prefer the flavour. However I have usually got a couple of tea bags for when I am away from home in my bag. They are from Palais des Thes. As I love their blue Louvre tea.

Yorkshire Biscuit Brew for a comforting, malty taste
Teapigs and Twinings are the best for fruit/herbals etc that I’ve tried

I also really like Redbush/Rooibos but not sure which is the best for that

It really depends how much someone likes tea.

I love lapsang souchong and East Frisian tea in particular, sometimes as a mix. I get loose tea from Steenbergs and use a permanent tea filter, though you can buy a packet of empty tea bags. I often get two mugs out of the same filter.Apparently in China, subsequent brews were thought of as being superior. There was a saying about how the first cup was for the host: "The first brew is for the host, the second for the guest, and the third for the soul."

Once I started liking tea, there’s no way I’d buy PG tips, which I was brought up on, or Tetley or any other brand that carefully manipulates loyalty.

In my opinion, Earl Grey and all fruit & herbal teabags should bypass the cup entirely and be directly placed on the compost heap where they belong.

It'd be boring if we all liked the same thing, wouldn't it?😎☕
