Tips for curbing sweet tooth indulgence

I’m not overweight, enjoy going to the gym, but that time of the month I want to inhale everything in sight. All the sweet treats. I just eat eat eat. There’s something making me do it, I’m not even hungry.
the rest of the month I have some willpower, but that goes out the window!
is there any supplements or anything out there that actually works to stop these insane cravings?

Don't have them in the house to tempt you !

Why do you want to stop this?

If you’re not putting on weight and it’s not affecting any other parts of your life then it seems like you could accept it. Perhaps taking away the guilt would take the pressure off?

protein.

berberine does knock the edge off my appetite. It’s nature’s GLP-1

Interesting way of looking at it! Maybe I don’t need to worry

  • Zero sugar soda
  • Homemade iced coffee - espresso, whole milk, sugarfree low cal caramel sauce, ice cubes
  • Chocolate pudding - 2 well whisked eggs with artificial sweetener, dark cocoa powder, a pinch of sea salt, a pinch of pure vanilla pods (or any vanilla you have on hand), a pinch of powdered coffee (trust me on this) and a few dark chocolate chips. I just pour the mixture in a small serving bowl and microwave until the mixture turns mousse or pudding like
  • Pancakes - eggs, milk, cottage cheese, a little flour, pure vanilla powder (or any vanilla), a pinch of salt and, optionally, cardammom. If I don't want to use butter, to cut calories even more, I'll just microwave until cake-like. I like to add a dollop of raspberry jam
  • Bananasplit - banana cut in half lengthwise, Greek yogurt mixed with a tablespoon or two of custard powder (or leave the custard powder out) or use low calorie ice cream. Add this yogurt or ice cream on top with whatever topping you like. I like berries and sugar-free low calorie caramel sauce, and maybe some dark chocolate chips
  • Baked apples or pears - cut an apple or pear in half, toss in a little bit of melted butter, artificial sweetener and cinnamon. Bake in the airfryer or oven until the fruit is tender. Serve with Greek yogurt, low calorie ice cream and maybe some chopped walnuts
  • Milkshakes - any fruit you like, frozen. Throw in blender with milk, artificial sugar, vanilla. If you want it really creamy, you can even add a small splash of cream
  • Potato waffles - boil and mash some potatoes with a beaten egg, artificial sugar and vanilla. Bake in waffle iron and serve with a dollop of jam. Maybe a dollop of mascarpone too
  • Sweet porridge - make a porridge of milk and oats, and add artificial sugar, vanilla, cinnamon. When cooked, eat warm with whatever toppings you like: chopped apples or pears, caramelised pumpkins, chopped bananas, coconut flakes, salted peanuts, sugar-free and low calorie caramel sauce or maple syrup
  • Poached fruits - poach pears, apples or even pumpkins in water, artificial sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, orange juice. You can even add rosewater if you want. Serve with Greek yogurt or low calorie ice cream. It's also good with whipped cream
  • Hot chocolate - whole milk, splash of cream, dark cocoa powder, artificial sugar, vanilla, pinch of sea salt
  • Chai - black tea boiled in milk artificial sugar and spices: cardammom, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, cloves

Oh, I forgot rice pudding - porridge or risotto rice, water, milk, artificial sugar, vanilla, a pinch of sea salt. When done, churn a dollop of mascarpone or cream in the pudding, and serve with a fruit compote or jam on top.
