This is undoubtedly a stupid question and I have tried to find a definitive answer...
I only get half an hour for lunch, I get bored with salad, sandwiches etc so wanted to have some hot food. I am happy batch-cooking curries, pasta sauces, chilli and freezing it. I've been taking it in defrosted to them reheat but this can take a good % of lunch time and also clogs up our solo microwave.
If I defrost and heat up my food at home in the morning then put into a food flask, is that ok from a food safety point of view? I'll still microwave a quick single portion of rice or pasta when I'm ready to eat so no worries about that, it's just the liquid part.
