How long to cook small brisket and what heat?

I have a small flat bit of brisket, 355 grams. I’ve never cooked it before and the internet suggests lots of timings and heat for huge pieces. Has anyone got any suggestions for timings and heat for a small amount?

I would give that at least 90mins to 2 hours. Lowish heat in oven. Put meat, crushed clove of garlic and small chopped onion in pan with tablespoon of oil and sear the meat all over (high temperature on hob). Then add a glass of red wine, or dark beer, or not. Add a beef stock cube, seasoning, herbs, water to near the top of meat. Cover and put in oven 160 deg. Better still put in slow cooker for no more than 4 hours on low. Brisket is not a traditional roasting meat.

Tips: If you are doing in the oven make a milk pudding and put it in. Rice pudding knob of butter (not spread) for every pint of milk two tablespoons of pudding rice, sugar to taste, maybe nutmeg or vanilla flavouring. Stir all together and put in oven with a lid on.

You can also put carrots, peas etc in a dish with water in the oven for 15/20 mins.

Roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding etc can all be done when oven is hot.
