Easy cake/bake for bbq dessert please

Hi, we are hosting a bbq this weekend and I usually make either a chocolate brownie/tray bake or chocolate loaf for dessert, either alongside or before berries and crème fraiche. Looking for other recipe ideas for a fuss-free, easy dessert, ideally a tray bake or cake. Doesn’t have to be chocolate but my DD does love it….thanks!

Pavlova is easy and can look a bit special.

Lemon drizzle cake is lovely with mixed berries and Crème fraiche. You can make either a loaf or traybake version. Personally I prefer lemon with berries to chocolate.

this Nigella cheesecake is easy to make (not baked though). I prefer to top with fresh berries rather than the cherry jam she suggests.

Not really sure if this is BBQ appropriate, I guess it depends on how "formal" it is, but we really love just buying some bars of chocolate, and leave them on the table to melt, open the packet down the seam at the back, then a bowl of strawberries/raspberries and marshmallows to dip in the melted chocolate.

Alternatively, press cookie dough into a tin, add some chocolate, and marshmallows and stick it on the bbq once the temperature has gone down.

I always do this one for a BBQ dessert. It’s a cake, but to make it’s easy: basically a batter with strawberries and super easy to do - I usually make it whilst the meat is being cooked. Perfect for this time of year when strawberries are at their best.

You could do it in a tray if you wanted something to cut into squares.
