I can't get past their stupid paywall so can't see the recipe, but does the 20cm tin need to be fairly deep? That's an 8" tin in old money.

I have this dish, and use 8 eggs plus (the last time) two salmon fillets broken up, a few handfuls of spinach, a block of feta chopped up, various herbs etc and a bit of Parmesan on top. (If they delay the image, it’s a silicone pan from John Lewis).

Frittata - 6 eggs ,300ml dairy,etc  a 20cm.tin ?surely too small

I put 8 eggs, but not so much milk in a 20 x 30 cm rectangular tin so seems OK?

ErrolTheDragon · 29/06/2026 09:31

A quick calc suggests roughly 4cm deep

@OutOfApricots

I used a larger rectangular dish in the end .
Seemed ok.
