Possibly the stupidest question I've ever asked on MN - Gammon Steaks.........

what is the best way to cook them?

Going to be having them with chips and egg (of course ) - but not sure how to do them best?

I would (automatically( just stick them under the grill until they "looked" about done.

But given that I didn't buy these Gammon steaks, and the Sirloin Steaks that were bought the other day (also not by me) I managed to chargrill on one side - I really don't want to stuff them up.

grill is good or stick them in oven for about 20 mins at around 180.

I'd grill them till they looked done too. I'd leave out the egg though.

grill and its nice to stick a pineapple ring on the top for the last few mins grilling.

And possibly a crinkle cut tomato. Or is that mixed grills?

And he doesn't like pineapple (so he's going to have fun on Friday when we have pizza and wine - and it's my choice of pizza this week - picking all the bits of pineapple of the Haywain ).
