First one in years.
The food was so well cooked
We had 2 courses for £5

I think toby carveries are great, always give me two small plates for DC and never ask us to pay for a childs meal.

Only down side is the sheer amount of food I have just eaten.
I should be very ashamed
but I'm not.

honestly I'm so snobby usually about these kind of places because i thought the food was on a similar par to hospital canteen stuff.
I have just had the most amazing roast beef dinner and ice cream sunday
They even put 2 flakes in my icecream so that dd could have one

did you take advantage of their bottomless custard jug?

pellmell · 23/06/2008 16:32

Suzywong, do you know what? I really don't think I should have looked at that (considering how stuffed I still feel)
On a serious note, I suppose each carvery in a chain is different but what especially impressed me was how nice and perfectly cooked all the vegetables were.
