Sealed caraway seeds packet: are these weevils or normal seeds?

I just bought a new pack of caraway seeds and noticed something odd. Are these weevils or just oddly shaped seeds? Packet is sealed and expiry is not until April 2028.

I think they're just caraway seeds that have started to sprout.

id say those are seeds where the papery seed case hasn’t come off yet. As a gardener those look just like cornflower seeds. Haven’t grown caraway - but I’d give the “odd” ones a rub - if the papery covering comes off and they look like the others then all good. At the worst these are a few other seeds from another plant - but they are def not weevils!!

Thank you!

Agree with PP. I think they are seeds that have missed to dehusking process. Peel one with your fingernails.

Weevils move…..anything moving where you aren’t expecting things to be moving are suspicious! Those look like seeds still in their outer casings
