Ideas for using up Easter egg chocolate in a cake recipe

Anyone got a good recipe for a chocolate cake that would use Easter egg choice. Or any other recipes that use up a lot of Easter egg chocolate. I'm fed up of seeing them in the cupboard 🤣

Every time I make any chocolate cake I add some finely grated chocolate to the sponge mix, it makes a lovely moist flavourful cake. That will make a small dent to your pile.

Are you /your dh /dc broken?

Lol, my 5yo was given lots by family/friends and us and she's not that bothered. I'm trying to lose a few kgs! My DH is just v healthy. I've got to make some cakes for a cake sale so thought using up Easter egg chocolate would kill two birds with one stone.

You could do a plain sponge baked in a tray, topped with a thick layer of melted chocolate and sprinkles. Cut it into squares and call it something retro like school dinner cake.

My favourite recipe as a kid was easter egg bits in custard . Lush.
