Can I cook defrosted chicken in a curry and freeze it?

Hello I’ve defrosted overnight in the fridge 2 chicken breasts with the intention of making a curry later - our plans have now changed and we wont be here to do that now - can I cook the chicken and still make the curry and then freeze it? I don’t want to waste the chicken and we won’t be here tomorrow to have it then either.
Thanks for your time.

Yes, because it has changed state by being cooked.

It's the only real situation where it's "allowed" to freeze a food twice. You can freeze it the first time raw, defrost, cook, and freeze again once cooked Smile

Any meat that's been frozen and cooked can be frozen again.
