What can I make out of crusts?

I made 2 summer puddings for the church BBQ tomorrow and have a humungous pile of crusts left over - in the past I've chucked them, but in my current parsimonious frame of mind it seems a terrible waste - anyone got any ideas or recipes? Or do the ducks get a big treat tomorrow?

Make breadcrumbs and freeze.
Make chicken kiev or similar. Make bobotie.
Make anything with breadcrumbs in basically.

Custy, you are a superstar!!

Robinpud, sorry, I should have mentioned in the OP that the crusts have purple fingerprints/smears all over them from making the summer pudding, so aren't really suitable for breadcrumbs for savoury stuff...

or croutons for soup and salads

stuffing - add a finely chopped onion, the juice and zest of a lemon, some thyme, one egg, stir well and stuff into bird or roll into balls and roast alongside.

Don't worry about the purple - it'll never show once it's cooked, you could always add some bits of bacon for camouflage!

oh you've made it! sorry, x-posted...
