Hi mcdreamy. I live in bucks and we regularly get leaflets from able and cole. Not used them but they have a website.

I'm nowhere near Bucks, but have to say I had nothing but problems with Abel & Cole - their meat was rank and delivery was unreliable. I've just started with Riverford Organic, who may well cover your area (if you type in your future postcode on their website they'll say if there's a delivery or not) - I'm VERY pleased with them so far - lovely veg and fantastic quality meat.

Both Riverford and A&C deliver in South Bucks - there's someone in Marlow who covers most of the area. Not sure about the north of the county though. Have used both, service good with both although found the Riverford box very dull in winter.

Riverford are based in Devon but have "sister" companies River Swale (Yorks) and River Nene (Cambridge) so you my be served by one. I have been very happy with my River Swale boxes.

You should be able to get both there Lucky you, it's a lovely place. I'm a bit further south than that.

wendover is lovely, its not far from me. There's a fab farm shop just outside of wendover that does lovely stuff too.

Oh great, I am really excited about moving back to the UK. Really pleased to here about a local farm shop, maybe I won't need a box then Thanks for your suggestions and help. Hoping I will be able to join a mumsnet meet up there!

Just did a "search" for wendover and this old thread came up. We are moving to wendover mid may, would be keen to know more about this farm shop...whereabouts is it/whats it called? Will be moving with 3 year old daughter if anyone knows anyone with kids that sort of age for a play date?
