Authentic Egyptician dish

I am hoping that someone can tell me whether authentic baba ganoush should have tahini in it. I went to Egypt this year and loved this particular dish. Just unsure as to whether Egyptians add tahini or not?

Yes tahini is an intrinsic part of babaganoush but the most important thing is to get your aubergine really charred ane burned to get the depth of smokiness. Babaganoush is the best foodstuff in the world
