Ginger cake recipes

As per title anyone got any. Boyfriend’s birthday this week and he loves ginger cake.

IMPORTANT NOTE the quantity of ginger specified is wrong, I usually use 4 heaped tsp, I suspect the recipe should read tablespoon.
The batter is very moist, but it makes an excellent sweet and sticky cake, very similar to the McVities one, but considerably cheaper.
