I’ve just learned from Radio 4 ‘Kitchen Cabinet’ that today is ‘Something on a Stick’ Day.

Any good ideas (other than lollies)? - I have bamboo skewers which I seem to mainly use as small plant supports.

We had chicken yakitori last night (delivered!) and they were delicious

Toasted marshmallows

Ummm cheese and pineapple?

Kofta kebabs or paneer tikka

I'm making burritos tonight, & skewer the tops together with cocktail sticks to go in the oven.

We're having quiche with new potatoes for dinner so I could spear the spuds, but I'm not sure quiche is the ideal candidate for a skewer, is it?😂

If my DM made it, a stick wouldn't penetrate the pastry - it'd be a job for a pickaxe.
